We offer 5 en-suite units which are spacious and stylishly decorated.  The units all face the garden with an inviting pool.  Also on the premises is safe parking and vintage bicycles to use for free. 

We operate on a room-only basis, allowing guests the freedom to explore the many excellent cafés, bakeries and restaurants located within easy walking distance of the property. Hermanus is well known for its vibrant food scene, with breakfast options to suit every taste just around the corner.

Please note that braai and self-catering facilities are not available.

Units can be booked individually, but are also ideal for groups, families or couples retreats.

Added to our portfolio is a stunning retro self catering unit in the apartment block across the street from the guesthouse (not on the same property!).

Sixteen Guesthouse on Main is found in the picturesque town of Hermanus. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, Hermanus is only 140km from Cape Town and is the whale watching capital of the world.  The famous cliff path is accessible a mere 400m from the guesthouse.

    Lovely experience and great hosts. The location of this accommodation is great. Everything is within walking distance. The room is light ,airy with coastal decor - had a very relaxing atmosphere. Everything is set up with the comfort of the guests in mind. Really enjoyed my stay and hope to be back soon !
